What is an ITPS Competency H Deficiency?
A deficiency is earned when a student does not complete the ITPS Competency H requirements within the semester he or she is taking the course aligned with the competecy.  Course alignments are detailed below:

For specific information about how deficiencies are earned, please refer to the Stage One Deficiency Policy and the Stage Two Deficiency Policy .
 
For students in teacher education sequences of Early Childhood Education and Special Education: LBS I, deficiencies are earned when students do not complete the ITPS Competency H requirements that are built into the SED 379 course.  
 
 
What is the impact of an ITPS Competency H Deficiency?
When a student earns an ITPS Competency 9 Deficiency, a block is placed on his or her ability to register and/or complete student teaching. 
 
How does an ITPS Competency H Deficiency get removed?
