Stage Two Deficiency Policy Step

| Student is given feedback by assessor. Student may review and practice each performance item that he or she failed. When student is ready, student is assessed again. | Second Attempt
| Passage of ITPS Competency H | Student is given feedback by assessor. Student may review and practice each performance item that he or she failed. When student is ready, student is assessed again. | | Third Attempt | Passage of ITPS Competency H | At this point, a deficiency will be reported to CECP. Students have the potential of having the deficiency removed by successful completion of the next step. | Enrollment in SED 379
| Meets Passage of Entire Competency if earned a ‘C’ or better and a request to remove the deficiency is provided to CECP. | The deficiency remains on CECP records of a student who completes SED 379 with a ‘D’ or lower. |
